At Lasso & Lasso, our attorney Ricardo has been practicing in Washington, D.C and Maryland since 1997. He worked for various local firms after law school, went on his own in 2002, and was a founding member of Lasso & Lasso in March 2003. His civil practice concentrates on the areas of Real Estate and Family law. He has extensive experience in real estate and real estate transactions involving individuals and businesses in residential and commercial purchases and refinances. Contracts, leases, and settlements are among his key practice areas.
Ricardo was born in Panama City, Republic of Panama. He is a Past President of the District of Columbia Land Title Association. He is a Past President of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals – DC Chapter. He is a former Florida International University Alumni Association – DC Chapter president. He is a Former Commissioner of the Capital Coed Soccer League.
He is an avid runner with 19 marathons completed in the Americas and Europe. The United States Soccer Federation Member, United States Soccer Federation Referee Program certified since 2006, and a Grade 7 Referee since 2011. Ricardo loves soccer and has played at the semi-professional and amateur levels for 45 years.
He is a graduate of the Florida International University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the Washington College of Law of the American University in Washington, DC.
